NetForce Solutions and TESSCO offer open enrollment training courses for RF Safety and T1 for Wireless Technicians

The majority of wireless companies in the industry today utilize DS1 and DS3 transport systems to connect their sites. Many times the wireless technicians are at the mercy of the provider when one of these connections is down. TESSCO has had numerous requests from their customers to design and deliver a training course focused on installing, testing and maintaining these systems. This course is focused on the wireless market and addresses all types of DS1 test equipment. RF Safety is for employees and others who may encounter RF fields or RF exposure, and is required training for employees and sub-contractors in the telecommunications industry. Subjects include regulations and RF standards, types of radiation and field effect, Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) at RF sites, hazard assessment, Lock out – Tag out procedures and Personal Protective equipment.
